Fiber Optic Connectivity
The AXM751 and AXM752 are IEEE 802.3ae standard compliant 10-Gigabit Ethernet XFP optics modules. They will interoperate with any 10-Gigabit Ethernet XFP cage. Both modules are designed to be hot swappable with the AX741 10 Gigabit Ethernet XFP Adapter which is utilised in one of the 4 High Speed module bays on the GSM7328S and GSM7352S stackable L3 Gigabit Ethernet switches. 
 
Short & Long Reach Options
The AXM751 10GBASE-SR XFP or "Short Reach" optics module will drive 10-Gigabit Ethernet over both 50 µm and 62.5 µm multimode fiber cabling to distances up to 300 meters.

The AXM751 10GBASE-LR XFP or "Long Reach" optics module will drive 10-Gigabit Ethernet over 9µm single mode fiber cabling to distances up to 10Km.
