Celtro adds to switching solutions

Celtro adds to switching solutionsCeltro has announced the launch of its next-generation additions to the DynaMate range.

The new DMT1000 and DMT4000 switches form parts of its adaptive backhaul switching solutions.

These enable cellular operators to give increasingly advanced broadband mobile services when migrating from 3G and HSPA networks to 4G or LTE and WiMax.

It enables operators to do this while keeping infrastructure costs under control.

DynaMate products offer layer switching with unique traffic optimisation and dynamic backhaul resource sharing for all traffic types.

The new DMT1000 and DMT4000 have been designed to solve backhaul network challenges for top-tier mobile providers.

Shahar Gorodeisky, CTO and VP marketing at Celtro, said: "Since traditional microwave, copper and fibre infrastructure technologies are hard-pressed and expensive to scale up to wireless broadband requirements, the backhaul has become the new 'weakest link' in provider networks.

"By offering single-box solutions that are both cost-effective and revenue-generating today, and also support the migration to 4G and all-IP RAN tomorrow - Celtro has cemented its position as the most innovative customer-centric provider of cellular backhaul switching solutions in the market today."
