Cosmetic firm Lush has signed a deal with Thus and Vodat International to provide its network services.
The contract will see the firms implement a fully managed Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) network across the handmade cosmetics retailer's 89 stores across the UK and Ireland.
The networks will provide high levels of security and resilience and support Lush's transition to internet credit control processing, as well as provide Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance.
Faster data transfer will also benefit the firm by reducing queues at its checkouts.
Phil Male, chief operating officer at Thus, said: "Our work with Vodat implementing Lush's managed broadband network demonstrates the extent to which technology is improving business processes, whatever the sector.
"The combination of Vodat's retail experience and our next-generation communication solutions have enabled us to provide Lush with a network designed to meet today's business needs and to grow with them to accommodate future requirements."
