Netgear's RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Router (WNDR3300) has been awarded at a top industry ceremony.
The product picked up the Popular Mechanics magazine's Editor's Choice Award at the 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
James Meigs, editor in chief of the magazine, presented them with the award at a private ceremony in Las Vegas.
Of 2,700 exhibitors launching more than 20,000 products at the CES, just 20 were honoured by the magazine.
David Henry, director for home/consumer products at Netgear, said: "We're particularly pleased to receive this prestigious recognition for the RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Router, as it offers a host of advantages to our customers.
"Not only does it offer simultaneous support for wireless-N and legacy devices at their maximum respective speeds, but it addresses one of the main pain points for most users -- security setup. Our innovative "Push 'N' Connect" feature is truly one of a kind, and makes setup seamless."
