A new line of network security solutions has been unveiled by leading technology firm Netgear.
The company has announced its new ProSafe Wireless-N VPN Firewall SRXN3205, which it claims can provide businesses with an "enterprise-class networking solution".
According to Netgear, the addition to its security line offers two different types of virtual private network tunnels, a secure sockets layer and IP security.
Jason Leung, senior product line manager for SMB security for Netgear, said businesses can "no longer afford to cut corners when it comes to network security".
"With the SRXN3205, we have integrated the strengths of our Dual WAN Gigabit SSL VPN Firewall (FVS336G) with that of a dual-band Wireless-N access point," he added.
David Fowler, assistant vice president of technology services at the University of Evansville, recently told Crescent Online that higher education campuses worldwide have a "constant need for increased bandwidth".
