The most popular technology categories and brands have been named in a new bestsellers list.
CMP Channel in collaboration with the NPD Group, a market research company, revealed the Mid-Year CRN Channel Bestsellers List, which aids technology solution providers in making strategic decisions about the top products.
The top five best-selling technologies are named in 22 categories and is determined by market share data for the first six months of the year.
Netgear and Cisco Systems were among the top five in the SMB Wireless Networking category, while Cisco was also named Channel Bestseller the Routers category.
Robert DeMarzo, vice president and editorial director at CMP Channel, said: "The CRN Bestsellers List is the authoritative technology guideline for readers as they make their product decisions and recommendations.
"It recognises companies that might not lead their particular sector in overall market share according to traditional research firms, butthat are formidable drivers of dollar volume revenue through the Channel. We applaud the companies on this mid-year listing."
