HP business unit ProCurve Networking's ProCurve Switch 8212zl, which is aimed at business customers and based on ProVision ASIC technology developed by HP, allows consumers to quickly react to developments in the industry, it has been claimed.
As a result, Amol Mitra, director of marketing at ProCurve Networking APAC & Japan, sees the product as being particularly suitable for consumers who expect their business needs to evolve - especially as the switch is also advocated as being robust and reliable.
"ProCurve's adaptive networks vision gives global companies the flexibility to grow their infrastructure in line with their business needs by enabling them to quickly adapt to new applications, fortify network security, increase productivity and reduce complexity," Mr Mitra said.
"The new 8212zl core switch further substantiates this vision by unifying the core-to-edge infrastructure, providing the ideal foundation for a network that is secure, highly available and cost-effective to deploy and maintain."
ProCurve has also unveiled its new ProCurve Wireless Edge Services zl Module, which is compatible with the 8212zl core switch.
