A number of D-Link's leading server products have received official network equipment certification.
Products that can now be labelled with the IPv6 Ready Core Logo Phase-2 certification from the IPv6 Forum include the company's xStack DGS-3400, xStack DES-3200, xStack DES-3528/52, DGS-3610 and DES-7200 chassis series switches.
According to the firm, the certification shows that D-Link is committed to providing its users with the maximum possible levels of interoperability and security.
Harrison Albert, regional sales director at D-Link Middle East, said: "These IPv6-enabled switches provide a secure network environment, specific vertical markets such as government and education institutions could especially benefit from the attributes that IPv6 technology provides for secure data communications."
Recently, D-Link announced it would begin offering lifetime warranties on its business solutions.
All products still owned by the original customer would be covered by the firm and any technology that is discontinued will still be under warranty until five years after the item was taken off the market.
