D-Link hopes the device will appeal to firms that use network attached storage regular file transfers.

Writing for Exec Digital, George Skaff, chief marketing officer at SGI, claimed the main IT challenge facing firms is that they must juggle data accessibility and the cost of storage.

He claimed that data storage costs are likely to rise as a result of the Carbon Reduction Commitment, which comes into effect in January of next year.ADNFCR-1186-ID-19394827-ADNFCR
