L-com's right-angle Ethernet cables have received industry recognition at the Electronic House Products of the Year awards.
The solution was named 2012 product of the year for Structured Cabling Systems and Multimedia Cabling.
Each year, Electronic House names the best new technology, products and services for connected homes.
Winners for the awards are chosen by a group of industry leaders alongside the editors of Electronic House magazine and CE Pro magazine.
L-com first introduced its Category 5e and Cat 6 right-angle Ethernet cables last year, and they have proved particularly popular with consumers.
They feature a channelised pair guide which allows the sharp angle without damage to the twisted pair wires within the cable, ensuring that the cables pass Cat5e or Cat6 testing.
The cables are available in several colours and right-angle orientations.
