Primary school updates network - Structure Cabling

Primary school updates network - Structure Cabling Hampstead Primary School in Ashburton is updating its ICT networking infrastructure.

The school will be replacing its structure cabling with Cat6 cables and leads in a move which will double the centre's bandwidth.

Hampstead Primary School currently uses Cat5 cables for the transmission of data across its site.

The tender process for the contract stipulates that only main contractors may apply and not sub contractors.

Subcontractors will have to consult with the winner of the contract if they would like to work on the project.

The deadline for applications to upgrade the school's network equipment is Wednesday April 8th.

In related news, Belkin International has announced it is expanding its V7 Cables range to include Cat5e and Cat6 leads.

The range was first launched in 2007 and will soon offer a range of high-performance network cables, duplex fibre optic cables and USB and VGA monitor leads.

All the new cables are certified to meet industry standards.ADNFCR-1186-ID-19098223-ADNFCR
