Nexans has revealed it is to launch its latest snap-in patch panel range at Gitex Technology Week 2007.
Both the latest LANsense upgradeable panels and a new fibre optic LANmark-OF snap-in panel will be unveiled at the exhibition, while a wider range of local area network (Lan) infrastructure solutions will also be on display at Nexans' stand at the Dubai International Convention Centre.
The LANsense modular patch panels offer users a more flexible solution, including the ability to transfer to network systems when firms see fit and without unnecessary complications.
"These panels are compatible with all Nexans' snap-in type connectors from Category 5e to Category 7, both screened and unscreened, adding further intelligence upgradeability," commented Tarek Helmy, regional director for Nexans Cabling Solutions in the Gulf and Middle East.
"No significant new installation is required and disruption is minimal. This development ensures the most versatile and comprehensive panel offering in the cabling industry."
Meanwhile, the fibre optic LANmark-OF empty patch panel has been specially engineered to ensure easy installation.
