The market for patch panels has become more vibrant than ever with the launch of a new colour coded product from Brand-Rex.
Complete with assembly instructions, the 19-inch snap-in-jack patch panel accommodates 24 ports within a 1U configuration.
It comes with a detachable cable management bar and features removable coloured inserts which allow for quick and accurate identification of ports.
Customers can purchase the inserts - which come in red, white, blue, green and yellow - separately in bags of eight.
According to Brand-Rex, the new patch panel is compatible with all standard 19-inch data and server racks and cabinets.
Brand-Rex has also launched a new high-performance Cat6 cable which it claims will "future-proof" networks.
The 10GPlus Zone cable is said to be smaller and lighter than conventional network cables and fully compatible with all Cat6 and Cat5e products.
