Siemon has released a new patch panel, designed to save space and create simple cable routing in server racks.
The DIN-Rail patch panel is a four-port device that can snap into a standard 35 millimetre DIN rail, providing a reliable and flexible solution for RJ45 cables and fibre cable connections.
Low profile cable routing through the server racks is also facilitated by the fact that the patch panel has an angled mounting design, needing just 70 millimetres of mounting depth.
Furthermore, the panels are stackable and are constructed of lightweight, high strength steel, with a black powder-coat finish.
The device is compatible with Siemon Z-MAX Outlets and MAX modules, as well as a vast array of cat6 cable, cat5e cable and fibre cable configurations.
Earlier this year, Black Box was recognised for its own angled patch panel, the SpaceGAIN.
It was given Business magazine's Award of Excellence for the way in which it reduces strain relief and saves IT professionals valuable time and money.
