Snake Tray has unveiled a new product that enables users to secure cables and circuitry in a weatherproof enclosure.
The Solar Snake Tray is a bendable product that can be used to get circuitry from solar panels to their terminations.
Suitable for outdoor-rated USE-2 wires, the solution could be ideal for data centres with solar panels.
The company said: "This innovative design (lobster trap principle) allows cable to be effortlessly installed while protecting cables from wind, rain or snow. Solar Snake Tray has built-in mounting rings every four inches and connects together with a single stainless steel connector.
"Snake Tray manufactures a wide variety of brackets to interface with any brand of solar panels racks including Snake Tray's new ballasted all weather racks."
A number of data centres have recently begun turning to solar panels to help power some of their server racks as they seek to become more environmentally friendly.
