New connectors have been introduced by Ideal Industries, enabling customers to make the right connections in tight spaces.
The products have been added to the company's line of Twister wire connectors and can perform well inside congested electrical boxes, according to Interconnection World.
Around 30 per cent smaller than conventional wire connectors, they are described as being particularly useful in retrofit applications, with the compact size contributing to faster and safer installation.
Despite the space savings made, thee company has also insisted that the connectors can work effectively with solid or stranded copper wire.
Earlier this year, Ideal Industries released the VDV PRO, a cable tester that, because of its bright backlit full dot-matrix screen, can work in the darkest of environments.
It can be used to confirm the quality of installed shielded or unshielded twisted pairs of RJ45 cables, as well as for shield continuity and voltage presence.
