Amtech's ProDesign software now includes the full range of Draka fire performance data cables.
The latest version of Amtech's ProDesign allows contractors to carry out a range of checks to ensure structured cabling complies with the various electrical installation standards set by the IEE.
According to the firm, the software can carry out calculations quickly and accurately and can substantially reduce design time and over-engineering.
Commenting on the inclusion of its cabling range in the software, Draka's business development executive, Kevin Morris said: "We feel Amtech's decision to include Draka cables in ProDesign is a real endorsement."
He added the Draka website is receiving record numbers of visitors seeking networking equipment advice.
Draka supplies Europe with state-of-the-art fibre optic cables and a wide range of innovative connectivity products.
Its core customers are telecommunication, data storage and broadband providers.
