A Rotherham-based cabling firm has been given a boost by the South Yorkshire Investment Fund (SYIF).
Connect-IP has been given the financial support after the company won a number of national cabling contracts including a six figure sum deal to install structured cabling at a leading children's hospital.
Connect-IP director Mark Richardson told The Star: "We had seen a number of national contracts come in and the company enjoyed a rapid expansion during a short period of time.
"The working capital was vital to keep the progress going."
He added that the money from SYIF enabled it to secure the hospital contract and will allow it to deliver phase one of the upgrade, with phase two taking place over the next 12 months.
Connect-IP offer a range of solutions to their clients, including network equipment installation, design and planning and data centre solutions which include the installation of server racks and cabinets.
