VCOMM has been chosen as the UK distributor for Polycom's award-winning range of VoIP business phones, it has been announced.
The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Coms plc and will distribute the PolycomSoundPoint range in Britain in a bid to make the phones as omnipresent as they are in the US.
The phones will also be sold as part of Coms's business VoIP solution, the company announced.
Terry Martin, chief executive officer at Coms, said: "Polycom manufacture the highest quality handsets and they are synonymous with business VoIP services in the United States.
"Entrusting Coms to distribute Polycom phones reflects the confidence that a world-leading telephony company has in our team, our internet telephony services and our business capabilities."
