R&D will be showcasing the new connector, which has been certified as meeting ISO/IEC standards, at the Ineltec 2009 conference between September 1st and 4th.
Jean Pierre Labry, Managing Director of R&M Middle East and Africa, said: "Cat6A is the key to new maximum performance and greater operating reliability in data networks.
He claimed that the new standard will allow both data centre operators and telecommunications firms to both increase their bandwidth and improve transmission quality over their networks.
Mr Labry concluded that firms would not have to abandon "the compact, reasonably-priced RJ45 style connector to which they are accustomed".
Suyin Corporation recently unveiled a new range of RJ45 connectors with LED status lights built onto the devices PCB.
The new devices are also capable of supporting power over Ethernet and are rugged enough to be used in the industrial sector.
