Businesses are being urged to bid on redevelopment contracts at Calderdale College.
Tenders worth £50 million are on offer to a range of businesses operating in a variety of sectors including structured cabling.
Calderdale College will hold two seminars outlining the projects which firms are entitled to submit bids for.
The main focus of the development will be the college's Francis Street campus.
Denise Cheng-Carter, vice-principal of Calderdale College, said: "We're putting a wide call-out to any local business that may like to tender for elements of the project, including glaziers, flooring, cabling and waste contractors.
She added that the work will include both construction and maintenance of the new campus and is one of the largest public investments that Halifax has made.
In related news, BT has been given the go-ahead to invest millions in the UK's next-generation broadband infrastructure.
Ofcom has said it will not cap the price BT can charge ISPs for the use of its fibre optic cables.
