International network equipment and cabling manufacturer Belden has introduced a new pre-terminated cabling solution.
The company claims its new 3600 range is environmentally friendly and is ideal for data centre and office deployment.
According to Belden, the Cat6 cable offers excellent performance and because it is pre-terminated it can reduce installation time by as much as 90 per cent.
It also offers plug-and-play reusability and so can reduce the amount of waste generated during the cable's lifetime.
Commenting on the new device, Belden said: "Since all system components are factory-tested, there is no need for the extensive testing and troubleshooting typically required in cabling installations."
The product, which comes complete with RJ45connectors, comes with a 25-year warranty.
Meanwhile, Belden recently introduced a range of Cat5 and Cat6 cables for use in harsh industrial environments.
The DataTuff range of industrial Ethernet cabling are protected by the company's Beldfoil shield, which prevents interference.
