Black Box has been rewarded for its innovative approach to patch panels with the SpaceGAIN range.
The company has been given Business magazine's Award of Excellence, recognizing the unique qualities of the products.
Available for cat5e and cat6 needs, the SpaceGAIN patch panels tilt down at a 45-degree angle, reducing strain relief and saving IT professionals valuable time and money.
Andrew Schmeltzer, Cabling Product Manager for Black Box, said: "We're proud that Cabling Business recognized these new panels with an Award of Excellence.
"This innovative design is really quite simple, but it significantly reduces cabling space problems, cable management, and costs in crowded cabinets."
With RJ45 connectors on one side and straight Krone/110 dual-IDC connectors on the other, the panels are available with either 24 or 48 ports.
A new patch panel was recently introduced by comCables that claims to have an "installer-friendly" design.
The Crescendo Patch Panel has a cord management attachment that can help keep installation neat and clean.
