Belden, a leading provider of structured cabling, has unveiled its 10GX pre-terminated cabling system.
The networking equipment is designed for use in data centres with high-bandwidth applications and for system-critical functions where performance and reliability are paramount.
Belden's guarantees Cat6 performance, without the need to compromise reliability, with its new product.
The firm states: "Belden's innovative Pre-Term Made Easy solution brings a new level of ease and convenience to cabling system design, ordering and installation."
Stephane Bourgeois, director of product management and networking solutions at the firm, said the 10GX can dramatically reduce installation time and costs.
The companies 10GX pre-terminated cable assemblies are modular and fully compatible with its RJ45 couplers.
Both products come with a 25-year warranty.
As well as cabling solutions, Belden manufactures alarms, sound and security equipment, optical fibre cabling and network equipment, OEM products and wireless communications devices.
It also manufactures professional broadcasting equipment and instrumentation for industrial processes.
