Network equipment manufacturer Belden has expanded its New Generation cabling range.
The firm has added four new unshielded twisted pair IP Cat5e and Cat6 cables to the series.
Belden's latest cabling products offer users with integrated power over Ethernet and data transmission in a single cable, eliminating the need for an external power sources.
The firm states that they are aimed at users wanting to transmit digital audio and video as well as customers installing low-voltage security devices such as CCTV cameras, keypads and intercoms.
Belden said: "The robust value-priced cables enable system designers, integrators and installers to provide their customers with high-quality, reliable sound, video and security systems at a very competitive price point."
The Cat5e cables feature solid copper conductors sweep tested to 100MHz.
Meanwhile, the two new Cat6 leads are tested to 250MHz.
At the start of the month, Belden unveiled its new Brilliance 1353A Cat5e digital audio single-pair cable for use in commercial audio applications.
