Albatech announce new cabling conduits

Albatech announce new cabling conduitsInternational cabling firm Albatech has introduced a new range of flame retardant anti-static data cabling conduits.

The FRAS polymer safety conduit has been developed as an alternative to PVC and metal cabling casings and, according to the networking equipment manufacturer, contains no harmful toxins or halogens.

Albatech states that the device is light and easy for contractors to install, and is useful in applications such as telecommunication, data processing and production automation in a wide range of industry sectors.

The firm claims that the FRAS conduit has been specially designed for use in green structured cabling projects.

Albatech said: "The recyclable and reusable FRAS polymer safety conduit produces no corrosive or toxic flue gases in the event of a fire."

The toxin-free Albatech conduits have recently been used in the $620 million (£292 million) ANZ Banking Group headquarters in Melbourne and the Epping-Chatswood rail link in Sydney.
