Electronics company comCables has introduced a new patch panel that allows for efficient installation.

The Crescendo Patch Panel Line is the latest product from the company, which claims that it has an "installer-friendly connector design".

The panel is available in 24 port configuration for cat5e cables and a 48 port option for cat6 cables.

Tom McAllister, director of manufacturing sales at comCables, said: "The Crescendo Patch Panel will dramatically improve electrical and internet data centre performance and will decrease the amount of time required for installation of this product."

Also included with the panel is a patch cord management attachment that ensures the installation is kept neat and clean.

Earlier this year, Siemon released an angled version of its Z Max Patch Panel, allowing users to save space in their data cabinet.

The product also incorporated the company's Quick-Snap design, saving valuable time during installation.
