SMA Financial has announced the completion of the upgrade of its primary data centre site, which is housed in The Bunker – an ultra-secure former military facility in the capital.
The upgrade will boost the organisation's capacity and support the SMA Bureau Service's plans to expand its operations in the future.
According to SMA, the investment will ensure that the highest levels of security can be maintained.
Christian Antrobus, chief information officer at SMA Financial, said: "The SMA Bureau Service is a critical piece of infrastructure for our clients.
"That's why we have chosen one of the country's most secure locations for our data centre to support this."
He added that The Bunker offers businesses complete piece of mind when it comes to network storage of sensitive or critical information.
Last month Irish data centre firm Data Electronics was awarded security certification by the BSI Group.
The certification covers two of the company's state of the art data centres.
