Optima EPS has unveiled a new range of transit rack cases that offer a solution for the most rugged environments.
The Optima E-TR combines a rotomolded case with a 19-inch stainless steel rack on anti-vibration mounts to provide extreme protection, while enhanced sway space between the inner frame and the outer case prevents any unnecessary contact with the outer container.
Able to withstand a temperature range of between –40 degrees F and +158 degrees F, the E-TR, the server racks comply with MIL-STD 810F and are rated to IP65.
The case is available in customizable colours and a range of sizes between 4U and 12U, and boasts ergonomic handles.
Part of the Elma Group, based in Switzerland, Optima EPS aims to provide rack and infrastructure solutions for all needs, ranging from wall mounted cabinets to units that can withstand earthquakes.
It also manufactures mobile command modules suitable for battlefields and law enforcement, as well as emergency services.
