Wireless telecoms provider Multitone has commissioned its own rackmount cabinet, to be used across the firm's global operations.
The firm contracted Creactive Design to create "a contemporary and holistic design statement" for its rack cabinets, and is delighted with the end product.
A range of rack components and cabinet elements were created using simple aluminium extrusions - not only as fascias, but also as hinged doors and panels.
This was designed to offer simple shelf access for cabinet users.
According to Multitone, the overall effect is a "dramatic wall of rippling aluminium", shielding an array of components and cabling.
"Creactive succeeded in achieving a cost effective solution by customising an existing cabinet and adding bespoke elements such as a printed glass door, handles etc. to co-ordinate with the rest of the product range," the firm stated.
