Data centre energy efficiency will be the main topic of discussion at a range of seminars to be held in London, America and Europe.
Emerson Network Power, a global leader in business critical continuity services, and the Digital Realty Trust, which supplies network equipment to the wholesale data centre sector, will be hosting three seminars on the subject over the course of the next year.
The pair have already held two seminars in March in New York City and Dallas, and the duo will go on to run the events in London (April 21st), Paris (May 26th) and San Francisco (July 16th).
Free to all attendees, the seminars are aimed a data centre decision makers, operational personnel, consultants and engineers.
They deal with harnessing the impact of operating efficiencies, techniques to improve energy usage and best practice for airflow management between server racks and server cabinets.
According to the Storage Networking Industry Association's European chairman Juergen Arnold, a lot can be done to improve data centres' energy efficiency.
