Network equipment manufacturer Dell has launched a range of new servers.
The new devices come in both stand alone and server cabinet mountable varieties and use Intel's four-core Nehalem EP Xeon 5500 processor.
Dell's PowerEdge 11G line up, was previewed a week before Intel officially launched its new processor.
On the day of the official launch, Dell started selling its T610 tower server, the R610 and R710 server rack mountable devices and two blade servers, the M610 and M710.
And the latest addition, the PowerEdge R410 is a two-socket machine that uses Intel's new Tylersburg 5520 chipset.
The device, which is suitable for use in server cabinets, takes up one unit of space and supports most of Intel's Nahalem EP chips.
Meanwhile, the T410 is a tower server with similar stats to the PowerEdge R410.
Dell has also released a new storage array aimed at small and medium-sized businesses the EqualLogic PS4000.
