NextComputing is demonstrating a new range of network equipment at the GPU Technology Conference.
The computer show, which opened on Spetember 30th and runs until October 2nd at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, California, has brought together a range of exhibitors.
NextComputing will be showing off its CUDA parallel computing architecture, which will allow Nvidia graphics processors to solve complex computational problems at speeds greater than those offered by standard CPUs.
According to the firm, developers can use the system to take advantage of true workstation-class computing in a space no bigger than a briefcase making any new equipment developed using the technology easily mountable in server racks or server cabinets.
"NextComputing's portable systems are extremely innovative solutions for CUDA developers," said Jeff Brown, general manager of the Professional Solutions Group at Nvidia.
Meanwhile, recent research by APC has shown that modern high-density equipment can be put to work alongside low-density legacy technology in a data centre environment.
