Siemon has released a new angled version of its Z Max Patch Panel that could help save space in Data Cabinets.Like the other products in the Z Max range, the newest version of the panel also has the company's Quick-Snap design, meaning Cat6 Cables can be quickly inserted or removed, saving valuable time, especially during installation.
The new panel is able to meet all 10GBASE-T and category 6A/class EA performance requirements and provides "aesthetically pleasing patch cord management".
Made with high-strength steel and with easy port identification through the high-visibility labelling system, the panel is available in both 48-port 1U and 24-port 1U versions.
Simeon has been producing Cat 5e and Cat 6 solutions since 1994, with a core product output of copper and fiber cabling systems.
The Connecticut-based firm recently introduced zero-patching technology that eliminates cable clutter and improves network equipment heat dissipation, aimed at users of Siemon's VersaPOD Data Centre Cabinet Solution.
