Siemon Launches Network Cabling Resource
Network cabling solutions company Siemon has launched a new resource which will help share information and tips on green IT network practices.
The company will also showcase the initiatives the company itself has already taken which has seen it pick up awards.
Through the online resource, companies will be able to look at how their business can take steps to reduce the environmental impact of IT activities by looking at best practice in cabling.
It is also expected that Siemon will also provide visitors with information on their ISO 14001 certification and global RoHS (Restriction on the use of Hazardous Substances) drives.
Rajesh Kumar, country manager, the Siemon Company, said: "Through this initiative we are trying to address a number of cabling-related areas in which a greener approach to IT is possible.
