Data centre solutions provider SGI will unveil its latest network equipment at the Gartner Data Centre Conference.
The event, which is being held in Las Vegas and runs from today (December 1st) until December 4th will bring together a huge number of operators in the modular data centre sector.
President and chief executive officer of SGI Mark Barrenechea is set to present a session on the benefits of green technologies, including reduced energy consumption and lower operating costs.
George Skaff, chief marketing officer at SGI, said: "We believe that the Gartner Data Centre Conference provides an excellent opportunity for organisations to discover innovative data centre technologies that can improve their business operations."
The company will present its innovative CloudRack and ICE Cube modular data centre technologies at the show, which Mr Skaff believes offer "unmatched energy efficiency, high compute densities and low total cost of ownership for customers".
Recently, Mr Skaff told Exec Digital that data centres will soon be hit by legislation on energy consumption and carbon emissions.
