Ricoh's GlobalScan 3.1 improves office efficiency Digital office equipment provider Ricoh Americas Corporation has launched its new Workflow Suite, according to reports.

The product, dubbed GlobalScan, has been designed to enable document-intensive organisations and companies better manage workflow efficiencies.

It will do this by integrating scanning into companies' business processes. The product is also compatible with Ricoh's multifunction products.

GlocalScan 3.1's Workflow Suite includes a number of scanning plug-in features to connect the MFP to different systems.

MFPs can scan documents and send them straight to backend systems, which allows users to create customised workflows.

It also features bundled connectors, including Scan-to-FTP, Scan-to-Printer, Scan-to-Microsoft Exchange Public Folders and Scan-to-Lan Fax.
