Prodrive selects Foundry Networks for upgrade Foundry Networks has announced the Prodrive will be carrying out a complete campus LAN upgrade with one of its products.

Foundry Networks is a performance and total solutions company dealing in end-to-end switching and routing.

Prodrive is a motorsport and automotive engineering group which will be using Foundry's FastIron SX Layer 2/3 10 gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) to carry out its upgrade.

It will also be using the FastIron Edge Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches at its headquarters in Banbury.

The switching infrastructure will support Prodrive's operations with bigger bandwidth and network functionality.
