One of the world's leading network equipment manufacturers has created a new range of 'layer zero' cabling solutions.
According to Ortronics/Legrand, the new solutions sit under the actual structured cabling infrastructure of modern networks providing support.
The 'layer zero' solutions include the Mighty Mo 10 Advanced Cable Management Rack and the Mighty Mo Cabinet, which are designed to help improve network equipment airflow – which in turn could reduce cooling costs in data centres.
Commenting on its latest product range, Ortronics/Legrand said: "For a more complete 'layer zero' solution, the Mighty Mo line of cable management systems are designed for seamless integration with other Legrand infrastructure solutions."
The firm is expected to showcase the new network infrastructure equipment at the Cisco Live 2009 conference in San Francisco.
The Cisco Live 2009 event will run from June 27th until July 2nd – and marks the 20th anniversary of the gathering of network infrastructure and IT professionals.
