Nokia Siemens buys network management firmNokia Siemens Networks has acquired a new network management firm, it has been reported.

The company will buy Apertio, a firm which provides network management applications for telecommunications operators, website techworld.com reports.

The company, from Bristol in England, took in revenue of around 28 million euros last year.

The deal is worth an estimated 140 million euros and is expected to be completed by May of this year.

Apertio's CEO Paul Magelli will manage a new section in the Converged Core area of Nokia Siemens.
