A new powe-surge protector has been unveiled by Sanus.
The device is the second product in the company's Elements Surge Protection Series and is aimed at audio-visual and home cinema enthusiasts.
Sanus' Elements ELM203 is suitable for use with flat panel TVs and set-top boxes.
"The ELM203 Low-Profile Surge Protector is an inexpensive way to incorporate surge protection into any home theater or audio system," said Jason Schmidt, product manager for Sanus.
"We've designed this product so it can be placed behind a wall-mounted TV or a piece of AV furniture sight unseen," he added.
The surge protector also has an RJ45 connector for phone and Ethernet protection, as well as a six foot coaxial cable for satellite TV connection.
Recently, Netgear made an addition to its award-winning home theatre networking lineup with the Home Theatre Internet Connection Kit.
The company claims that the kit can be used with no new wires as it uses existing power line structured cabling already used in most buildings.
