Minicom Advanced Systems Launches New Product
KVM switch and extension technology provider Minicom Advanced Systems has launched its new centralised remote access system.
The KVM.net II enables IT administrators to access their IT assets, including serial, KVM, power and network devices remotely through one IP address.
Its Access Services feature also includes support for a number of remote access technologies such as RDP, SSH, Telnet and web services.
Benny Hayumi, product manager at Minicom, said IT managers would be "excited" about the product's auto login.
He added that IT departments in today's offices have to work with several different passwords and usernames.
Mr Hayumi said: "KVM.net® II radically simplifies life for these IT managers by providing centralized, unified secure access to all their globally distributed services and network devices via a single click of a link on the portal."
