HP's ProLiant ML115 G5 server has been dubbed a perfect first server for small businesses which includes many essential features.
Designed with small and medium sized enterprises in mind, the new ProLiant server offers growing firms plenty of expansion room through its use of multiple PCI-Express card slots, according to ITProPortal.com.
It also has four DIMM slots, for easy memory expansion, and is capable of supporting four hard disc drives.
The quad-core machine, which is server cabinet mountable, comes with 2MB of cache, 1GB of RAM, a DVD writer and 160GB hard drive all for just £150.
Cost is kept down with the use of AMD's latest Opteron processor, and the entry-level server provides a versatile and reliable solution on a budget, the website states.
Meanwhile, HP has rolled out the latest version of its Business Service Automation software, which aims to make the lives of data centre administrators easier.
