Ericsson has provided telecom operator hellas online (hol) with the IMS and telephony softswitch network.
The operator is a member of Intracom Holdings Group and one of the major internet service providers in Greece.
Ericsson has delivered a next-generation network which incorporates its Telephony Softswitch Solution and IMS solutions.
The company also provided the network deployment, multivendor verification, customer support, systems integration and training programs.
Lazaros Lentzaris, chief technology officer of hellas, online, said: "By using the new technologies, Ericsson Telephony Softswitch and IMS solution, hellas online's customers will enjoy the high quality of telephony services combined with the innovative experience of IP multimedia services.
"We chose Ericsson for the quality of its network solutions and its strong local presence, and we believe that this contract will be the beginning of a successful long-term
