Enterasys Provides Network For Bethel University
Networks solutions provider Enterasys Networks has been chosen to provide more than 4,000 networked devices for Bethel University in Minnesota.
The company will use its Network Access Control to help the university assess and authorize more than 7,000 students and staff.
Bethel University's IT staff will be able to control the applications using the network without using desktop or laptop computers, website Computer Business Review reports.
Bill Doyle, vice president of IT services for the university, said: "Prior to deploying Enterasys, it was difficult for us to determine where our users or devices connected within our multi-campus network.
"Now we can identify users and devices and address problems while leveraging role-based policies that prioritize and secure specific applications and users.
"Enterasys NAC is a flexible solution that scales to meet our dynamic requirements."
