Network equipment manufacturer D-Link has announced that it will offer customers a lifetime warranty on its business solutions.
According to the firm, the warranty guarantee started this month and will apply to any business solution product purchased through authorised dealers.
The Lifetime Warranty will cover products as long as they are still owned by the original customer, or up to five years after the product concerned is discontinued.
Speaking about this new initiative, Jayesh Kotak, vice-president and product manager at D-Link, said: "This is in line with the company's focus to provide world-class products, solutions and services.
"This warranty policy is certainly going to be a great win-win situation for our customers and is also testament of the quality of D-Link products."
Recently, D-Link expanded its energy-saving, server rack mountable switch range with its DGS-3200 2Gbps device.
Commenting on the new product, Andrew Mulholland, UK marketing manager for the firm, said its xStack Green Ethernet switches show the company's commitment to affordable networking solutions that have minimal impact on the environment.
