Corning to hold data centre seminar in London - Networking Industry News Network equipment manufacturer Corning is set to hold a conference in London in the final quarter of this year.

The seminar attendees will get hands-on experience with the company's LANscape Pretium Edge solutions, which use high density fibre optic cables.

Pretium Edge cabling can be routed tightly around corners and extra slack can be coiled without damaging the device.

According to Corning, the new cabling system allows for up to 35 per cent faster deployment, 25 per cent faster moves and 100 per cent more structured cabling density than existing solutions.

The conference will be held on October 15th.

It will bring together a number of leaders in the cabling industry and there will be a series of presentations addressing the critical issues facing today's data centres, including energy efficiency and future proofing.

Corning is a leading producer of specialty ceramic and glass products, and has more than 150 years experience in the industry.ADNFCR-1186-ID-19264946-ADNFCR
