Cisco is set to host a special online broadcast aimed at showcasing the benefits of its unified computing system.
The new initiative will see the Cisco switches producer expand on its working relationship with US-based TASER International.
The two firms recently reached an agreement that has seen TASER switch to Cisco's EVIDENCE.com application, effectively a virtual evidence warehouse enabling law enforcement and legal professionals to gain quick and secure access to information, including video and audio data that can be used as evidence in a criminal case.
The one-off event will take place online on December 17th and guests giving advice and case study examples through the webinar will include representatives of both companies.
Just last week, Cisco's chief executive John Chambers dismissed suggestions that the company could make a move into the smartphone market and compete against the likes of Apple and Research in Motion.
