Cabling firm to double turnover - Networking Industry NewsA British cabling contractor claims it can more than double its turnover after bidding for a range of local government infrastructure contracts.

KBR IT & Networking Solutions (KBR) believes it can expand its revenue from £2 million to £5 million in the coming year.

The firm, which installs Cat5 and Cat6 cables and leads for the transmission of data, has a long list of high profile clients to its name – including Newcastle United's St James's Park and the Scottish Parliament.

KBR hopes to be able to expand its workforce, which currently stands at 25 members, during the same period as well.

Robin Price, sales and marketing director, said: "We have the skills and know-how to ensure that the client is getting the best service, which has in turn allowed us to gain a strong reputation within the communications industry."

Earlier this month, Washington-based Canford Audio won a lucrative contract to provide video streaming equipment to the G20 summit.ADNFCR-1186-ID-19134184-ADNFCR
