Willtek has introduced a new tool to help engineers in data centres test their wireless LAN devices.
The 1491 Wi-Fi Connectivity Test Package provides Go/NoGo testing easy-to-use test package with adequate documentation of the results.
Software provided with the network tool can help users through a connectivity test while technical information such as MAC address and several transmit and receive parameters are also provided.
Matthias Schuster, product manager at Willtek's, said, "The Wi-Fi Connectivity Test Package can be combined with other Willtek products for Wi-Fi-only tests or for tests also including the mobile radio capabilities or Bluetooth.
"We showed different possible solutions to service centre managers, and they all were enthusiastic about it!"
Fluke networks recently released the AirCheck Wi-Fi tester, a solution that provides fast and effective network visibility through an intuitive interface, with five hours battery life.
